This course is the first part of a two-part series of multidisciplinary courses which examine children who have experienced complex developmental trauma, including outcomes, assessments, and interventions through a study of peer-reviewed articles and evidence-based interventions, including Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). TBRI is an attachment based, trauma-informed intervention designed to meet the complex needs of children through connecting, empowering, and correcting. Emphasis in this course will be attachment theory and the development of healthy relationships.
