Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisites: NURS 50003 and 50053. In this course, students will develop critical thinking and decision-making skills necessary for use of psychopharmacological agents in advanced practice management of mental illness across the lifespan. Emphasis will be placed on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of psychopharmacology and their relationship with physiologic and pathologic responses of the client.
