Prerequisites: This course is designed specifically for students enrolled in the Master of Music in Collaborative Piano degree or with permission of Instructor. The purpose of this course is to give students a deeper knowledge of the vast repertoire that exists in the realm of instrumental collaborative piano. The course is designed to survey both the standard repertoire as well as introduce more esoteric, yet substantial music. Instrumental duos, chamber works and orchestral reductions of all periods will be discussed and analyzed within an historical and theoretical perspective.
