Long Description (Catalog Description)
Prerequisite: Admittance to the MSW Program or by instructor permission. Advanced practicum education extends and deepens students¿ social work knowledge and practice skills with clients. Under the supervision of experienced social workers, students gain greater autonomy and independence within agency settings. They also develop leadership skills, particularly in work with children and families and in health and mental health environments. Additional fees apply to this course.
