This foundation-level practicum course helps students integrate the knowledge, values, and skills gained in the classroom with their developing practice in the internship setting. It serves as a bridge between academic learning and professional social work practice. Through experiences in both the agency and this seminar course, students begin to cultivate a professional identity and apply core social work competencies within real-world human service environments. Additional fees apply to this course. A grade of B or better in SOWO 61883 is required to progress to SOWO 61893.
